The day Ukraine changed forever
2014 Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych Impeached
On February 22, 2014, Viktor Yanukovych was removed from office by Ukraine’s parliament after months of Euromaidan protests against his pro-Russian policies and rejection of a key EU trade deal. His ouster led to Russia's annexation of Crimea, heightened tensions with NATO, and the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine that set the stage for the 2022 invasion.

This is the official portrait of Viktor Yanukovych, the 4th president of Ukraine.
