1920 The League of Nations Is Formed
On January 10th, 1920, during negotiations that ended World War I, an intergovernmental body formed in order to resolve conflicts peacefully, establish basic human rights, and protect vulnerable populations. The League of Nations started with 42 nations and had more than 50 at its height.
