2015 Charlie Hebdo Attack Shocks the World
Two gunmen linked to al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula killed 12 people at the Paris offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. The attack was in retribution for the publication’s depictions of the Prophet Muhammad, sparking global outrage and solidarity movements.
