2006 Twitter's First Tweet Sends the Platform into Motion
On March 21, 2006, Twitter cofounder Jack Dorsey sent the first public tweet, writing "just setting up my twttr." This marked the official launch of the social media platform, setting the stage for Twitter's rapid growth and transforming online communication worldwide.
