2018 Crime Boss Whitey Bulger Is Killed in Prison
On October 30, 2018, American crime boss Whitey Bulger was beaten to death by fellow inmates while serving his sentence in prison. His violent demise marked the end of one of the most notorious criminal figures in modern US history, whose life had already inspired books and films before his eventual capture and imprisonment.
