1919 Treaty of Saint-Germain Signed
On September 10, 1919, Austria and the Allied Powers signed the Treaty of Saint-Germain, dissolving the Austro-Hungarian Empire and redrawing Central Europe's borders after World War I. This treaty created new states, transferred territories, and imposed military restrictions on Austria aiming to weaken it and reduce the likelihood of future conflicts in the region.
